Thank you for the wonderful and timely job you did on the new lighting. (If nothing else it forced us to change that nasty green color in the kitchen to something more livable!!!!) In all seriousness, we will enjoy the new "light" for a long time, I'm sure. It's wonderful to look down the halls and in the bathroom and actually see.
We especially appreciate your honesty. We would never have known you didn't use all the material you estimated in installing the tube lighting if you hadn't told us and deducted the cost. That says a lot about you and your overall integrity. Thanks for being that kind of guy. Should we ever get the chance we will certainly recommend you! Thank you so much. We met Joe in April 2005 when we were expecting our second baby. We were interested in adding 2 bedroom's and a jack & jill style bathroom. We called a few numbers out of the phone book and Joe Kelley of JBK Construction was the most responsive. At the same time we called the people that built our home for a referral and were pleased to find out that they said we should talk to Joe. We were very hesitant about doing construction because of horror stories we had heard but we needed a larger home. From the beginning Joe was very easy to work with. We were concerned that there may be some "hidden costs" that would add up to a lot more than we were quoted but that did not happen. Joe did everything for us, from beginning to end. He made some suggestions to us but also listened to what we had in mind. We landed up also adding a 900 square foot shop attached to our garage in addition to the bedroom's and bathroom.
Construction was a little delayed due to extra rain but Joe knew our baby was coming and was very concerned about how to make it easiest on us and the new baby. Joe was at our home almost every day giving us the status on what was going on, status on which sub-contractors were coming, etc. It was obvious he did not want to cut any corners but he wanted to get everything done as quick as possible. We had a 2nd birthday party planned for our daughter and Joe made extra effort to make sure we were as close to completion as possible. He was actually at our home the Saturday morning of the party waiting to make sure the carpet got installed before the party started. We had several friends and family members comment on how impressed they were with our contractor.
We would strongly recommend Joe and JBK Construction to anyone that is looking for a contractor, and we would not call anyone but him if we thought of doing any other construction at our home.

We purchased our home knowing that we had a significant amount of remodeling to do to make it what we wanted it to be. We remodeled the kitchen, both bathrooms, extended the master bedroom and put new flooring throughout the house. We interviewed three contractors and Joe Kelley was the one that we selected and we're glad that we did. Remodeling is difficult, time consuming and expensive.
